Do I need to be a developer to work with you?

Not at all. Many of our clients are founders, designers, or product people who built something with AI tools and need a technical partner to help them understand what they have and where it needs to go. We meet you where you are.

What tech stacks do you work with?

Broadly: anything modern. On the frontend that means React, Next.js, Astro, Vue, and similar. On the backend we cover Node.js, Python, Go, and most popular frameworks. We also cover cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, and Vercel/Netlify. If you're using something else, just ask. The engineering principles transfer.

How long does a typical engagement take?

It depends on scope. A focused code review of one specific area (like your authentication system or database setup) can be turned around in a few days. A full audit across frontend, backend, security, and DevOps typically takes one to two weeks. Ongoing advisory engagements run month-to-month.

Will you actually look at my code, or just give me generic advice?

We look at your actual code. Every engagement starts with access to your real repo. Our findings are always specific to what you've built, not a checklist pulled from a blog post.

My app was built almost entirely by AI. Is that a problem?

It's exactly why we exist. AI-generated code is often functional but frequently misses production concerns: security, scalability, test coverage, proper error handling, and maintainability. We don't judge how it was built. We help you understand it and make it something you can stand behind.

Do you offer ongoing retainer engagements?

Yes. Some clients want a one-time audit; others want a seasoned engineer they can call on regularly as they build and grow. We're happy to discuss what ongoing engagement looks like on your discovery call.
